Nine organizations availed of grants from the Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund (DACF). The signing of the Memorandum of Agreement and the conferment of the Deed of Donation & Acceptance between DACF and the grantees was organized on February 21 at the Eduardo Aboitiz Development Studies Center.

The Dolores S. Aboitiz Children's Fund is a program of the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. (RAFI) that focuses on children’s needs and concerns.
By making grants available for children-oriented programs, Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund aims to contribute to the protection and interventions that build children’s wisdom and resiliency. Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund shall work together with other stakeholders to create child nurturing communities and families. It shall also strive to provide better opportunities for children in order to achieve optimum development of their potentials.
As a program of RAFI, Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund adheres to the policies and thrusts of the Foundation. It shall complement RAFI’s development programs by specifically addressing children’s concerns.
VISION
Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund envisions a transformed community where every child reveres fullness of life.
MISSION
Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund commits to create families and communities who are advocates of children’s welfare and development.
GOAL
To provide financial and technical support (competency development trainings) to short and long term development projects, initiatives and infrastructures aimed at promoting children’s welfare & development.
PRIORITY & GEOGRAPHICAL FOCUS
Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund shall provide financial assistance and technical support to development projects and initiatives for children (aging 0-17 years old) within Visayas regions. Dolores S. Aboitiz Children’s Fund however, places high priority acceptance to proposals coming from proponents within Central Visayas but projects can be implemented outside the region.
